WE Educate Celebrates a Successful First Term

WE Educate Celebration

A few weeks ago, the WE Educate team held a celebration for the children in the WE Educate program and their families. These are children who are able to go to school because your support pays for their tuition, books and uniforms.

There was food, discussion, games and encouragement. Through your donations, the WE Educate program will support 30 students during this next term, starting January 30th, in the primary, secondary and vocational levels.

Here are some of the children who are getting an education through the WE Educate program:

Lynne
Lynne (pronounced “leen”) is 7 years old and is in the equivalent of the 1st grade. Her favorite subject is math and she wants to be a doctor.
Amulen
Amulen just turned 19 and is in the equivalent of the 11th grade. She aspires to be an accountant. Her favorite subject is also math and her favorite sport is volleyball.
Daniel
Daniel is 18 and his favorite subject is science. He hopes one day to become a mechanic.
Daniel 2
Daniel is 9 years old and is in the equivalent of the 3rd grade. His favorite subject is math and he wants to be a policeman.
Lillian
Lillian, age 17, is one of 8 children. Her favorite subject is social studies and she aspires to be a teacher.

In the future, we will highlight other kids in the WE Educate program.

In the meantime, our sincere thanks to those of you who have supported the WE Educate program.
